Welcome to Fountain Middle School. Mr. Walker is honored to be the Principal. 

He has been dedicated to the field of education for more than 13 years.  He has worked with students ranging in age from 6^th through 8^th grade in various roles. He has worked in Special Education, Athletics, Gifted Programming, and as a general education teacher. Mr. Walker has worked as the Dean of Students and an Assistant Principal. Most recently, he served as one of the Assistant Principals at Fountain Middle School. He is thrilled to bring his skills as an educational leader to Fountain Middle School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.

Mr. Walker graduated from Trinity International University with a BA in History Secondary Education. Mr. Walker has a Master's degree in Education Leadership. He is originally from Illinois and is a Chicago Bears fan! Mr. Walker hopes to be a resource to all members of the FMS community. His goal is to provide a positive and safe learning atmosphere for students. He is very focused on helping students to prepare for their future. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and camping.

I am grateful to join the Fountain Middle School team as an assistant principal. It is a privilege to be a part of a community that strives to create an environment where students can thrive every day. 

I hold strongly to the belief that every student can succeed and positively impact the world around them. As an administrator, I seek to empower teachers in their crucial role of guiding students as they develop new skills and understanding. Student success requires strong partnerships between home, school, and community. I look forward to helping build and strengthen these relationships so that students can reach their full potential.

My journey as an educator began as a social studies and Spanish teacher both in Colorado and Taiwan. Prior to being an assistant principal, my leadership experience included being an instructional coach and dean of students. I studied history and Spanish for my bachelor’s degree and completed a master’s degree in educational leadership.

I am a Michigan native and a huge Michigan State fan! Go Green! After graduating from MSU, my job search brought me to the beautiful state of Colorado where I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership. I have been fortunate enough to have spent my 12 years in education serving the community of Fountain as Physical Education teacher at Jordahl Elementary, Dean of Students at Fountain Middle School, and now as an Assistant Principal at Fountain Middle School.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and getting outdoors to hike and go snowboarding.

I look forward to continuing my work within the Fountain community and supporting our families and students with their educational careers.

I truly enjoy being part of the Fountain Middle School community- I believe we have the best students and staff! This is my fourth year as an Assistant Principal and 13^th year in education. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with my family and golfing. My drive to serve in the position of Assistant Principal is because I believe education creates opportunities and I want to be part of the solution.
