Hello! My name is Heather Schmillen and I am so excited to be teaching at Fountain Middle School as a Special Education teacher for my ninth year. I am a graduate of Ball State University (Indiana) where I earned a dual Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I then received my Masters Degree in Reading Instruction through Regis University here in Colorado. When I am not in the classroom, I spend most of my time hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening, reading, and spending lazy afternoons with my cat.
