Arrival: Parents driving their child(ren) to school will use the parent drop-off lane in the front of
the building. This is a one-way-only lane; kiss and go. Please do not park, stop, or get out of
your car in the drop-off lane. This blocks traffic and greatly impacts the arrival process.
Dismissal: Students who are being picked up by parents will be in front of the building. As
parents arrive, we ask that you do not stop and get out of your car while in the pick-up line. If
The primary method to notify all district employees, parents, and students of school closing is through our mass notification system in Blackboard, which will come via text, email, and phone. We will also post a pop-up message on the homepage of our website for visitors accessing information here, as well as push a notice through FFC8 Twitter and Facebook.

Middle School Initiative is a program that provides a free YMCA membership to middle schoolers at specific schools across the region. The goal of this program is to inspire youth to discover their passions, develop a healthy lifestyle, and gain the assets needed to avoid risky behaviors in order to succeed in school and life.
Participants will be supervised during structured activities including: homework help, character development, STEM, cooking and sports. Students will receive a FREE YMCA membership to be used outside of program hours
